I did receive my campfire solostove today after it travelled half the world.
It  was worth the wait. I boiled water first you have to do that . It cleans out the pot. Grilled sauages in the 1.5 l pot /fry pan.  It worked so well I had the fire steady and could cook without burning.

This is a wonderful, easy-to-use camping stove. I got the big model because I am NOT a backpacker and I like to EAT real food! I went camping with a bunch of friends who brought gas-powered stoves, and when they ran out of gas, we cooked breakfast on my Solo stove! It flares up pretty quick (provided you build the fire properly.) I just get a bunch of twigs and broken branches and - don't laugh because it works great - a TAMPON (unused, of course) because the cotton flares right up from a spark or match without having to use any liquid firestarters. The fire will burn through the twigs and branches fairly quickly, so you might have to keep feeding little branches into the stove to make it last longer if you are cooking a lot. I like to use a small cast-iron skillet on it for my bacon and eggs, but I've also put a regular sauce pan on it to boil water for my coffee. Your pan needs to have a bottom that is AT LEAST 5 inches across or it won't fit on the little prongs that make up the "eye" of the stove. Everyone was impressed with how easily the fire flares up in this stove! The only downside is that is doesn't last a long time if you don't keep feeding it wood. (Duh!) This is an awesome piece of engineering. I want to buy one for everyone I love!

I have owned solo stoves for years. I remember when the first one came out. I couldn't wait to get it. I was amazed at how fast it cooked, and how easy it was to light. Same as when the next version came out.....It was just as great as the first.
Now we have the Campfire! It is a campfire in a can! I knew before it arrived it would be great, but after using it I was blown away. There are hundreds of videos out there on how to use SOLO stoves, so I won't go into that here. Look the how-to's up on YouTube.
I used small branches at first, then got out the axe and chopped larger pieces of seasoned oak and tossed in the SOLO stove. It really is a campfire in a can. I was amazed at how fast it heated up. After the fire died down I was graced with glowing hot coals that cooked up a pot of Navy Beans to perfection.
Quality, ease of use, and fun to use, this is going to be my primary camping stove. Thank you folks for another great product!

Big Daddy of Solo Stoves!

We have been wanting one for a couple of years and just finally purchased it to our great happiness! What an absolutely wonderfully constructed and efficient stove! We are living and traveling in an R-pod and this added to our sense of adventure and sustainability. Just a few twigs for a super hot flame. Thanks!

Awesome Fire Powerhouse

As an employee of a retail DIY company, I need a release at the end of the day. You may too?
The solostove Campfire helps us send the day up in flames. We always have branches and twigs littering our yard and the solostove Campfire allows us to dispose of these sticks in a very therapeutic way. I've always beed a "fire junkie" and, for me, this is the best "fix"!  The solostove Campfire helps to be prepared for power outages and other small inconveniences and gives my wife peace of mind (and an excuse to drink wine, occasionally :)  I hope to find a solostove Bonfire in our holiday purchases.  Truly the Best little thing that I've purchased in a very long time.  On many levels, you need one of these little therapists!

The perfect way to decompress and relax.

I have the Original Solo Stove, which I keep in my pack. I have the Titan, which I keep with my "Truck Camping" gear. Now I have the Campfire, which I will be keeping with my "Glamping" (RV) gear. I wanted something for those times when there were no fire pits at the RV Park, but still want to have a fire. I tested it out, and it will definitely do the trick! Also good for when I know I am not allowed to have an open fire in the woods, "What do you mean, Mr. Ranger Sir, I don't have a campfire going... this is just my stove." :) It is a little hard to tell by the pictures, but it is big. The best way I have found to describe it is "Cookie Jar" sized. Maybe a little bigger.

This is the one I have been waiting for, it is simply a great little stove. I have all three stoves and I love them all, but this one is perfect for my uses. They even included a separate bag for the pots to help keep things a bit cleaner.

This stove is large enough to get down to business cooking. In addition to the matched pots, It will even allow you to use an iron skillet to fry, with no fuel source other than Mother Nature. It is large enough to burn larger sticks, pine cones, and other twigs/ branches, grasses- and keep a fire without constantly feeding it.

I also found the larger size easier to build a fire in as there is simply more room.

The stove heats up quickly and as I said, burns longer without adding fuel.

The pots worked as expected, and nestled handily inside themselves and their stuff sack, before dropping into the sack with the stove.

The quality of these stoves and pots is impressive, they will last many seasons and provide great bang for your buck.

This stove is a bit large and heavy to be a true backpack stove, they have smaller stoves for the pack light guys. This stove is designed for more of a group or family. It can cook enough at one time to feed a family. On an extended stay, it would do good service for several days without leaving you feeling as if you were needing more.

I'm again impressed by this combo, keep it up guys...

Solo does it again...

Purchased the Campfire version a few weeks back. Both myself and my fiancee were extremely impressed! He is a design engineer and is NOT easily impressed but he thought that the whole design and materials were impressive. We lit it up in our front sitting area one night just to test it out and enjoy a fire. It performed exactly as described by both the website and by folks writing positive reviews. A bit smokey at the start-up but that is to be expected until it gets going and the wood catches fire. Started it with a very small amount of birch bark that I had lying around. It was so simple! The flames were mesmerizing. Wished that I had some marshmallows! We own a boat and camp on islands in the intercoastal. This is a perfect, lightweight, addition to our camping gear. Easier to haul small twigs than logs! We purchased a Bunsen burner screen to burn pellets on. Too bad one isn't included in design and added to package. Would certainly enhance sales. I read about it in other reviews of this product. Will purchase the alcohol burner too since denatured alcohol would be safe onboard the boat. Fantastic product! Highly recommended by us!!

LOVE THIS!!

We love the Campfire so far. It is very light weight and easy to use. I love being able to roast marshmallows and make s'mores with my family without getting sick from all the smoke. This is a great option for people with asthma like myself. I wouldn't say it is smoke free, but there is very little smoke.

Solo Campfire Stove

I own all three versions of the Solo Stove and love them all. As the product continues to grow, I noticed that the three prong cooktop becomes less desirable. I would like to see the top changed to balance larger pots/pans. Other than that, this product is an ideal camping/survival stove for larger groups and families. I highly recommend this product and am excited to see what Solo Stove does next.

The next gen camp stove

Really disappointed! I have the small one and really like it. Wife got me this one for the family campouts and it burns really really dirty. Like throw the pan away black. The only time it cleans up is just before it is out of fuel. My small one burn cleanish and my friend has the titan and it’s great. This thing is horrible. Going to try customer service. Might just throw it away.
