My family recently moved into a new home. You can imagine how much “stuff” I had accumulated over the years with 3 kids, 2 dogs and 2 adults that like to save all of our sentimental keepsakes from childhood.
We were literally busting at the seams of our old house. I organized and labeled as much as possible, and we still had toys and gear out everywhere. When we moved into our new home, I wanted to set us up for success, so after purging a lot of old items we no longer needed, I decided to hire a professional organizing service to not only beautify my home but set us up for success and boy am I happy with the results!
Let’s start by saying this was an investment. The process took a few days, but we tackled a ton of spaces! We organized my mudroom (drop zone), pantry, kitchen, and closet. I had a crew of women helping me edit, organize, beautify and label everything. So, if you choose to do this, make sure you have a chunk of time you can be available to help your organizers through the process.

Not only were they able to make me proud to show off what is inside of my cabinets, but they also streamlined our life. I cannot say enough about how much this service changed our day-to-day life. The decluttering of my material goods also decluttered my mind. My children suddenly could see where their favorite snacks are kept, and we have been able to maintain a much cleaner lifestyle, knowing everything has a home. I could literally feel “weight” being taken off my chest and my mind when they finished, and now I feel so good walking into my clean home every day.
