Bath time is the start of our bedtime ritual in our home.

It is our wind-down time.  Sometimes I put essential oils in the bath, sometimes bubbles, and sometimes, nothing.  But my kids LOVE the bath.  Almost daily, I have a hard time getting them out of the tub, and I think one of the reason’s why is because they love their bath toys! Below is a list of my favorite bath toys for kids.  These are definitely well-tested and kid-approved.

These make great gift ideas, and many can be used in the pool over the summer, too.

Baby Shark Creative Art Toy
All of my children love to draw and to paint, especially on everything EXCEPT paper! This set is super fun because it includes paint and crayons.  It wipes off easily with tub cleaner.

Nuby Purple Octopus Bath Toy
My kids LOVED playing with this adorable octopus. They throw the rings constantly trying to catch them on the octopus tentacles.  We made a game out of it to see who could get the most points. Best of all, it is super affordable!

Boon Bundle Building Toddler Tub Time Toy
Through this one is a little more pricey, it’s a great STEM toy for the bath! Children can set up their own diverter systems, watching water filter through the pipes and wheels in different configurations. This is great for older kids too!

Sports Lovers will love this bath time basketball hoop!

Perfect for perfecting your shooting skills. It sticks onto the bath with silicone cups, which are easy to remove for cleaning.

Ariel Light Up Bath time Doll
This was my daughter, Lola’s, absolute favorite bath time toy! Ariel lights up underwater as she swims, she sings, and my daughter spent a lot of time “styling” and “washing” her hair.  She dries pretty quickly, too! This is a MUST for Disney Princess lovers.

BunMo Suction Cup Bath Toy
These suction cup toys are amazing! Stick them to the bath, or each other. My kids built castles, racetracks and made fun designs.  I used to use them to teach shapes while they were in the bath. We would show a shape using the suction cups and then I would have my kids build the shapes.  These are super fun, and easy to keep clean!

Baby Shark Sing and Swim Bath Toy
For babies who love the baby shark song, this is a GREAT toy.  This shark sings underwater and comes equipped with an underwater speaker! This is a great distraction toy while you wash your baby’s hair!

Color Me Bath Books
The Wee Gallery Bath Books are awesome. They start out black and white, and come to life in vibrant colors when dipped into water! They have a few different topics to choose from like dinosaurs, ocean, and jungle themes. These are adorable for young babies who like to hear stories in the tub.

Munchkin Spout Cover Safety Guard
Nothing ruins a bath like a bump to the head. I would highly recommend a spout cover to keep your baby from bumping their head on the bath.  They love to swim and move around and it is so easy for your tiny babe to end up with a bonk on the head. I love the duck version above, but they sell a lot of other animals if you prefer.

I know I know, with so many toys your bathroom will be a mess! But, alas, I have a suggestion for that as well.

Munchkin Quack Bath Caddy

I bought this a few years ago and LOVE it.  It has fit on every bathtub I have had from a standard small child’s tub to a big jetted whirlpool tub, to a soaker tub in our new house. It slides in and out to adjust to the size you need and has drainage holes to prevent mold. It keeps the floor of your tub free from toys, so you can properly clean it! I would highly recommend it.

I hope these items will help make bath time a little more fun in your home! Happy Shopping!
