There is nothing I love more than snuggling up in comfortable pajamas at the end of a long day on my feet.

I used to throw on oversized t-shirts and cheap pajama shorts at the end of the day, but during COVID, I changed my mind and started prioritizing my comfort while I sleep. I realized I was spending all of this money buying my kids gorgeous, soft and snuggly pajamas and I was wearing tattered, worn in clothes. So, I quickly decided I had to invest in myself a little more, and I swear it has changed my life. I sleep much better and wake up so much more refreshed. Because I know pajamas are highly personal, I asked 5 of my close friends to share their favorite pajamas with me! Here are the results. I hope this inspires you to up your pajama game, too!

Xo,

Lizzie

Lizzie’s Pick: Athleta Nighttime Bless Sleep Cami and Shorts

How I sleep

I am hot natured, so I need pajamas that breathe. I’m also petite so super long pant styles don’t work for me. These are some of my favorites.

These are so soft and so cool to the touch, and they look great after washing them time and time again. They keep me comfortable all night, and I wake up feeling refreshed in the morning.

“I’m weird,” Jenny explained. “I’m always cold when I get in bed, so I like long pants, but then I always end up warm after 20 mins or so, so these pjs are my favorite in the long pant/short sleeve top combo. “Plus, I do fake tanner overnight someone’s and prefer to save my sheets.”

Lauren’s Pick: Soma Cool Nights

“I am obsessed with Soma’s Cool Nights collection,” she said. “Since having kids, I am so hot natured when I sleep, and these are amazingly soft and cooling. I love crop styles because I am short and that you can mix and match sizes (small on top, medium on bottom? Yes, please!). They have a great selection of fun prints as well as solids, and the coordinating kimono style robes are so luxurious. I love throwing one on in the mornings and feel like a ‘fancy mom’.”

Maytee’s Pick: J.Crew End-on-end cotton short sleeved set

This JCrew pajama set is my go to. I love that it is made of 100% cotton. (100% cotton PJ’s are hard to find),” she explained. “I love that they are cropped and are made of lightweight fabric. They are super comfortable, while still making you look put together. Caution: They do wrinkle they should be pressed after each wash.”

“My favorite pajamas have always been a soft/silk shirt and shorts combo,” she said. “I tend to get chilly at night but get too hot in pants and most nightgowns I have found bunch up. A new favorite is this set.”

Alicia’s Pick: Lake Pima Long Short Set

I love these because they are luxuriously soft, and they make me feel like I am taking care of myself when I put them on after a long day,” she described. “I also love the mix of shorts and 3/4 sleeves. My legs feel free, but I feel cozy with the sleeve length.”
