No matter which holiday you’re shopping for (Hanukkah and Christmas actually overlap this year, which is kind of nifty.), books are a perennial hit!

They won’t break during shipping,  they never go out of style, and they always fit like a glove no matter how much your little reader grows. Whether you’re shopping for your own beloved children or your cousin’s 5 year old whom you’ve never met in real life, these books are sure to bring a smile.

P.S. I’ve focused entirely on picture books in this post not because I am a picture book writer (though I am), but because I truly believe the magic of the right picture book can appeal to readers of all ages.

P.P.S. I wish you a peaceful and joyous holiday season filled with love, laughter, and books!
