Love is a universal language that has inspired countless stories throughout history.

Love has always captured our hearts and imagination, from fairy tales to novels to movies. But the most powerful and authentic love stories are the ones that come from real-life experiences. That’s why we asked our Instagram followers to share their love stories with us, and we were overwhelmed by the incredible responses we received.

We’ve selected our favorites to share with you, and we hope these stories will inspire you and remind you of the beauty and power of true love.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Our love story started while serving in the military, stationed in Korea, 2001.

The pic to the left we were 19 & 21 (I’m older), we didn’t know anything about, love, life, commitment, sacrifices, ….we just had puppylove!

The pic to the right is October of 2020, our wedding day! We grew up together, we learned so much together. After almost 20 years together, 3 kids later, tons of smiles & cries, we finally wed! We had a zoom wedding, at the court house with family and friends watching.

Still literally one of my favorite days!

It was the summer of 2013, I had gotten my first ever teaching job on a military base in the hot southern California desert.

It was two weeks into the school year and the desert was unbearable hot, when a freak and random monsoon hit. It rained so much the school I was teaching at flooded. Walls and floors had to be ripped out and classroom had to be moved.

The teachers and I were told we would be assigned an army unit to help us pack up our classrooms and move. Each teacher was assigned a unit of soldiers and an officer to help with communication between the school/teachers and the army/soldiers.

The officer in charge of the unit assigned to me is now my husband! It took a monsoon to bring us together!

I met my husband 22 years ago at church.

He didn’t speak English and I spoke very little Spanish. On our first date he handed me a rose and an electronic translator. We married shortly after because all we needed was the language of love! Ha!

These high school sweethearts who started their own story in history class.

We were in the same history class and sat next to each other.

At first, I thought he was just a typical jock, always cracking jokes and messing around in class. But as I got to know him better, I realized he was much more than that. He was smart, ambitious, and had a heart of gold.

One day, I stayed after class to ask the teacher a question and he offered to walk me home. On the way, we stopped at this little ice cream shop and talked for hours over ice cream cones. I was struck by how easy it was to talk to him and how much we had in common. It was like we had known each other forever.

From then on, we were inseparable. We supported each other through the ups and downs of high school and beyond. When it was time to go to college, we decided to go to the same college so we could continue our journey together.

I knew he was the one because he made me feel like I was the only person in the world that mattered. He always put me first and made me feel like I could conquer anything as long as he was by my side. And now, years later, I still feel the same way. I’m so grateful for that chance meeting in history class and for the journey we’ve been on ever since.

We met in 2011 in High school Science class, I thought this man was a hottie! (still true).

Fast forward ten years later we reconnected and saw each other almost everyday. After I introduced him to my two kids they LOVED him and his mom (Aaron’s mommy) 😂❤️

We now have two of our own and he cares for my oldest as his own. We’re engaged and planning our wedding for 2024! I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else! It is so fun watching him accomplish everything in life and be the best dad. 🥰

Last picture from highschool 🥰😂
