The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall on NUK First Choice Glass Baby Bottles.

The recall discloses that outside markings on these bottles contain lead levels exceeding the federal lead content ban. If young children ingest lead, it is toxic and can cause health issues.

This recall involves NUK-branded First Choice glass baby bottles (ASIN B0027SVJ9O), which were manufactured for the UK market and not intended for sale in the United States. The glass bottles have a latex teat designed for babies from 0 to 6 months old in 240 mL size.

NOTE: Only the NUK-branded glass baby bottles described above that were manufactured for the UK market are included in this recall.

What you should do if you have been using these bottles:

If you have been using these bottles, stop immediately. Contact NUK for information on how to return your bottles and receive a full refund.
