Believe it or not, babies make great travel companions.

They love the new sights and sounds just as much as adults do. The only problem is they require a lot of stuff. Strollers, cribs, pack-n-play, carriers, and carseats the list goes on. The amount of gear needed alone can make parents shy away from traveling with the tiniest travel companions all together. But, did you know you can actually rent most of these items instead of carrying them around with you when you travel?

Let me share with you a few great options to help you out when it comes to traveling with all of that baby gear so that you can focus on your vacation and not all the stuff.

Baby Quip

BabyQuip makes it easy for you with many delivery site options like airports, hotels, and vacation rentals. They will even deliver to grandma’s house or set up a pick up and drop off time. BabyQuip guarantees all items are clean, safe, and insured for a worry-free experience.
To find an equipment provider, simply search your destination then you will be offered a list of dozens of providers, a list of items they provide, as well as pricing and delivery options. You also have the ability to chat with them and read reviews of previous customers. Many of these vendors offer everything from car seats, strollers, baby monitors, and toys. Really a one stop shop.

Traveling Baby Company

Traveling Baby Company
is another option for a provider that ensures clean and safe equipment. TBC, offers all of the baby necessities and even some destination specific options like wagons and sand toys if you are visiting the beach. Delivery options also include airport, vacation rentals, and hotels. Self-pick up is also an option at select locations. Based on their map, Traveling Baby Company has a heavy presence on the east and west coast and overall seems to be more available in larger cities.

Luggage Free

If you are still not convinced on a rental service or realize you just have too many items you need to rent you can always ship it. Luggage Free offers guaranteed on-time delivery including a $500 minimum of insurance. First you schedule your pick up and pack as you normally would, then Luggage Free will send packing slips and come pick up your luggage. They will monitor and track your luggage and guarantee delivery to your destination. Luggage Free is however specific that they only ship luggage, golf clubs, and skis so you will need to have baggages that your baby items can be packed in. However, Luggage Free is unique in that they ship internationally and I can’t think of anything better on an international flight than avoiding the baggage claim and drop off.

So the next time your in-laws call and ask you to bring the baby over for a long weekend, don’t make the excuse. Simply, tell them when to expect you and when to expect a delivery. You no longer have to be that mom in the airport struggling to carry all the things or let’s be honest that’s what we have dads for.
