Fall is one of the most festive seasons! It’s easy to love the change of season and feel the excitement of the holidays that are soon to come. Fall is also a great time to spend quality moments with your kids, enjoying the beautiful weather and special seasonal activities. Here is a list of fun activities you should try this fall!

Go Apple Picking

Visit a local orchard and pick apples. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and teach your kids about where their food comes from.  We recommend finding one that has games and hayrides so children of all ages can enjoy it.

Visit A Pumpkin Patch

Go to a pumpkin patch and let your kids pick their own pumpkins. You can then carve or decorate them together at home.

Go On A Nature Hike

Take a hike in the woods and let children explore their surroundings and collect leaves and acorns to make artwork! Don’t forget to collect pinecones for bird feeders.

Build A Scarecrow

Create your own scarecrow with old clothes and have your kids decorate it. It’s a fun way to welcome the fall season.

Create Fall Crafts

Organize a craft day with autumn-themed projects. You can make decorations for your home, like paper pumpkins, leaf garlands, or handprint turkeys.

Make A Bonfire And Roast S’mores

Roast marshmallows and make s’mores over a campfire or a fire pit in your backyard.

Fall Family Movie Night

Have a family movie night with classic fall movies like “Hocus Pocus,” “Charlie Brown’s The Great Pumpkin,” or “Harry Potter.”

Go Camping!

If you’re up for it, consider a family camping trip to experience the beauty of fall in the great outdoors. You don’t have to go far.  Some families love camping in their own backyard!

Whatever you choose to do, remember to tailor these activities to your children’s ages and interests, and most importantly, enjoy the season and the time spent together as a family.
